Sports Direct alongside sister brands Flannels and USC have signed to take the former BHS unit at The Cascades Shopping Centre in Portsmouth.
The store totals approximately 150,000 sq ft of space with two trading levels and a double-height frontage overlooking the new central breakthrough area.
They will commence fit-out in March 2020 with a planned opening in May.
Andrew Shepherd at AS Retail, who conducted the negotiations, commented: “Sports Direct are a fantastic addition to The Cascades and will, alongside our existing anchors of Primark, H&M, Next and TK Maxx and our ongoing improvement programme, consolidate The Cascades as the primary centre in the city centre.”
