The store has dual frontage to Victoria Street West and Freshney Place Shopping Centre and sits adjacent to Poundland, Specsavers, JD Sports and in close proximity to Boots, Clarks, 02 and The Works.

Totalling some 92,000 sq ft, the store is available as a whole or on a split basis.  Arranged over five floors (three of which are trading) it comprises the following approximate areas, subdivision options are available upon request.

Our clients Cards Direct have secured two further stores taking the total number in their estate past 40.

With Christmas just around the corner, we are pleased to advise that they have now opened their new unit in Woking and their fit out in Leicester is advancing well. Cards Direct are an independent greetings card retailer selling a superb selection of British made cards along with gifts and accessories from their bricks and mortar stores and via their new transactional website at www.cardsdirect.co.uk.

Both deals fulfil long term requirements for these towns. In Woking they have taken the former Monsoon within The Peacocks Shopping Centre and in Leicester they have acquired the former Boots Opticians on prime Humberstone Gate, which forms part of the Haymarket Shopping Centre.

Andrew Shepherd, Director of AS Retail who conducted the negotiations on behalf of Cards Direct commented ‘These two acquisitions take us to five new stores for the year with further sites in the pipeline for early 2022 opening. Overall, we are seeking a further 10 units next year with the roll out continuing thereafter.”
